The successful Greek TV series of private Mega channel, “The Island”, based on the Victoria Hislop novel of the same name, is doing very well outside Greece as well as within the country.
In Serbia, the Greek production hit new viewing records with its premiere two days ago on a big TV channel. Capturing 26 percent of viewing in all age ranges, the prime time zone of the Serbian television has reached new heights in viewing ratings.
The Serbian media reviews on the Greek TV series have been very positive so far, and it is expected that the Victoria Hislop story will become a big success story in the country.
